This Course Is Unique To Fitbody Fitmind And Has Been Carefully Devised By Ian Watson.
The Aim Is To Teach And Introduce A Basic Foundation Of Boxing Techniques And Training Methods.
COURSE STRUCTURE
FITNESS ASSESSMENT EVALUATION
- STANCE – Develop balance, mobility and agility whilst maintaining a good boxing stance. Shadow boxing and the importance of motioning the energy up from feet and through the lower limbs continuing the transfer through the back, shoulders, arms and fists.
- PUNCHING - Learn how to deliver the 6 basic punches correctly with speed, technique and timing. Also covers the mechanics of hip and shoulders rotation, sitting down on the shots, closing the glove etc (Bag work and pad work)
- FLEXIBILITY - Improve your range of movement and core stability. Promote muscular conditioning and the prevention of injuries.
- FITNESS - Improve your cardiovascular endurance, stamina and strength, conditioning, techniques of breathing sync for varied levels of intensity when punching.
- MOTORSKILLS - How to develop your coordination, speed, timing, distance and measuring your range correctly from contact or target area. (Covers bag work and pad work.)
